This isn’t your typical class—it’s a relaxed, friendly space where we support each other, sip tea (or coffee!), and slowly build up our British Sign Language skills. Whether you’re just curious, a complete beginner, or brushing up what you’ve learned before, you’re very welcome here.

What’s in the mix?

 • Everyday signs to help you chat confidently

• Fingerspelling fun and sentence-building basics

• Handy insights into Deaf culture and communication

• Interactive games and group activities (no pressure, just fun!)

• A warm, collaborative space to practice at your own pace

Arrive early to sip, nibble, and settle in.

Coffee, tea, and cake will be available to purchase from Tiffins before we begin—because everything’s better with a treat in hand.

Please note : This is a peer-led learning group, not a formal class. Think of it as a chance to grow and connect—with others and the language. I’m your host and facilitator, learning alongside you, not a certified BSL teacher—just someone who loves bringing people together to explore and support each other.
